COVID-19 Information
12 March 2020
Dear all
In light of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar statement on the COVID-19 virus, FLAC have decided for the safety of our volunteers and service users to close our free legal advice clinics until after 29 March.
We will however endeavour to keep our telephone information and referral line open during this time. If you have a legal information query you can contact us on 01-906 1010. The phoneline will be open Monday to Friday 9.30-1pm and 2-5pm.
FLAC’s head office will also be closed, however we have contingency plans in place for our team to work from home. The main office line will be in operation so you will be able to contact us as usual on 01 887 3600. All staff will be contactable by email and phone.
We are also producing a series of FLACsheets to provide information on your rights during the current outbreak. They will be available on our website at https://www.flac.ie/publications/category/legalinformation/ and will cover queries around Social Welfare, Borrowers Rights, Employment Law, Family Law and Landlord and Tenant issues.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. Stay safe everyone!
Kind regards,
Eilis Barry
