Tipperary lawyers are recruited to volunteer with FLAC
3 October 2013
Due to the great demand for the Free Legal Advice Centres (FLAC) in Tipperary, we are looking to extend our capacity.
FLAC is now recruiting fully qualified solicitors and barristers to volunteer at the FLAC services in Nenagh, Thurles and Clonmel in Co. Tipperary.
Volunteer advisors are asked to provide first stop legal information and advice in their own centre on a rota basis for two hours in the evening. Each solicitor is asked to do two duties annually.
In our FLAC centres no cases are taken on, no notes are taken and our volunteers do not act or write letters on the callers' behalf or give second opinions. Leaflets and other useful resources are provided to support your work at the clinic. This FLAC centre is managed by the Co. Tipperary Citizens Information Service. If you are interested and you would like to get involved, please contact Zsé Varga, Volunteer and Centres Manager on (01) 8873600 or email volunteers@flac.ie
